Van Gogh National Park

Van Gogh felt really connected to the landscape of the Brabant region and this shows in his letters and works. Van Gogh Sites Foundation is involved as a knowledge partner in the development of a Van Gogh National Park. The park connects a variety of typically Brabant landscapes and is surrounded by dynamic cities of Eindhoven, ’s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg en Waalwijk.

The park connect typical nature reserves and landschapes, going from Oostelijke Langstraat and the drifting sands of Loonse en Drunense Duinen natureal park to the Het Groene Woud region, Oisterwijk's Forests and fens and the areas of Kampina and De Mortelen.

The governor of the province of Noord-Brabant Wim van de Donk symbolically inaugurated the national to be and launched the organisation fo the Landscape Triennial to be held in 2020.
